The SRT Roars Again: Stellantis Reignites High-Horsepower Dreams
Well folks, muscle car fans—strap in. The tire smoke is about to get a little thicker over Detroit. Stellantis just dropped a bombshell that’s got pistonheads everywhere revving their engines: the legendary SRT (Street and Racing Technology) division is officially back.
That’s right. After the bittersweet goodbyes to the tire-melting Hellcats, V8-powered Grand Cherokees, snarling Vipers, and those bonkers Viper-powered Ram trucks (because why wouldn’t you?), God have heard our prayers and anguish of the EV nonsense assaulting our souls.
And leading the resurrection? None other than Tim Kuniskis—the same guy who helped unleash modern Mopar madness in the first place. He’s now heading up Stellantis’ American brands and North America marketing strategy and is reviving the SRT name to unify performance across Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram.
“We’re getting the band back together,” Kuniskis said. Translation? Prepare for more screaming horsepower, insane quarter-mile times, and vehicles engineered with the singular goal of blowing your hair off—figuratively or literally.

SRT will now take the reins on everything from Direct Connection performance parts to NHRA competition and even Ram’s return to NASCAR Truck Series in 2026. The move promises a future filled with unapologetic performance, advanced tech, and maybe—just maybe—a return of something slithery… 👀
Could a new Viper be on the horizon? No official word (yet), but if you’re going to revive SRT and talk about assembling the best powertrain minds in Detroit, it’s hard not to imagine a new serpent lurking in the shadows. Even if it doesnt we can dream of the iconic return im sure the AI geeks will are already forming one.

Bottom line? Detroit muscle isn’t dead—it’s just getting started… again.
Let the modern muscle dreams begin.
